Date Setters Are Deceived, Fanatical, False Teachers Of Deception, False Prophets, First Day Adventists And The Synogogue Of Satan

By John Vega
April 19th, 2024

Dear Seventh-day Adventists,
In this article I am will be warning of the deceptions and dangers of of date setting and the acssociation Ellen G. White makes with date setters and first day Adventists.

Time Setting False Excitement - Is Jesus Coming in 2027 or 2031? - David Barron

"Let all our brethren and sisters beware of anyone who would set a time for the Lord to fulfill His word in regard to His coming, or in regard to any other promise He has made of special significance. "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power." False teachers may appear to be very zealous for the work of God, and may expend means to bring their theories before the world and the church; but as they mingle error with truth, their message is one of deception, and will lead souls into false paths. They are to be met and opposed, not because they are bad men, but because they are teachers of falsehood and are endeavoring to put upon falsehood the stamp of truth." {TM 55.1}

"Those who think they must preach definite time in order to make an impression upon the people do not work from the right standpoint. The feelings of the people may be stirred and their fears aroused, but they do not move from principle. An excitement is created; but when the time passes, as it has done repeatedly, those who moved out upon time fall back into coldness, darkness, and sin, and it is almost impossible to arouse their consciences without some great excitement. {4T 308.1}

".....the people will not have another message upon definite time. After this period of time, reaching from 1842 to 1844, there can be no definite tracing of the prophetic time. The longest reckoning reaches to the autumn of 1844." {CTr 344.5}

"There will always be false and fanatical movements made by persons in the church who claim to be led of God--those who will run before they are sent and will give day and date for the occurrence of unfulfilled prophecy. The enemy is pleased to have them do this, for their successive failures and leading into false lines cause confusion and unbelief.--2SM 84 (1897). {LDE 35.2}

The full moon marking passover day will occur upon the evening of Sunday, the 24th day of March, 2024. During this time we will gather and remember our Lord Yahushua's last supper by performing foot washing, the eating of unleavened bread and drinking unfermented grape wine. We will also read Luke 22:7-20 to remind ourselves that Passover has another fulfillment yet to come when we will celebrate it with Yahushua in the kingdom

Luke 22
7Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. 8And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 9And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? 10And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? 12And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. 13And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

The Lord's Supper Instituted - Jesus Explains That Passover Will Be Fulfilled When We Celebrate Passover With Him At His Second Coming
(Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

14And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. 15And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. 21But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. 22And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! 23And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

"In company with His disciples, the Saviour slowly made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, broad and full, shone from a cloudless sky. The city of pilgrims' tents was hushed into silence."

How To Calculate The Hebrew Sanctuary Calendar

God's Sacred Hebrew Sanctuary Calendar always begins in March with the crescent moon kicking off the Hebrew month of Abib (Green Ears). The crescent new moon of Abib establishes the first full moon after the vernal equinox which is when Passover occurs every year.
Listed below are several factors and a preponderance of evidence from the Bible, nature and the writings of Ellen G. White that goes into God's method of calculating calendar.

1. The sun moon and stars per Genesis 1:14 which celestial bodies are what produce spring weather.
2. The growth stages of Barley in Israel per Leviticus 2:14, 23:14
.

3. Growth stages of other vegetation such as wildflowers, figs, grapes, almonds etc. in Israel. Song of Solomon 2:13
4. Various evidence of the breeding of the animals and birds in Israel. Song of Solomon 2:13
5. Ellen G, White's unambiguous inspired statements concerning "the first month of the Jewish year" and "the time of Passover".

Every year we are to calculate the crescent moon that places the first full moon after the vernal equinox which full moon marks Passover. Every year the Jewish year begins in March and there are several first hand witnesses that travel to or currently live in in the land of Israel to testify that the barley harvest is indeed in the green ear stage of ripeness which the Hebrew word Abib means green ears.

Ellen G. White's Only Commentaries On The Timing Of "the first month of the Jewish year" And "the time of Passover"

Ellen G. White was a prophet inspired by the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit of Yahuah. With that said, I believe it is of no minor importance that we carefully examine the only two statements Sister White made concerning "the first month of the Jewish year" and "the time of Passover".

Patriarchs And Prophets P 538.1

"The first of these festivals, the Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, occurred in Abib, the first month of the Jewish year, **corresponding to the last of March and the beginning of April** (not the last of April and the beginning of May as most erroneously believe in 2024). The cold of winter was past, the latter rain had ended, and all nature rejoiced in the freshness and beauty of the springtime. The grass was green on the hills and valleys, and wild flowers everywhere brightened the fields. The moon, now approaching the full, made the evenings delightful. It was the season so beautifully pictured by the sacred singer: – {PP 537.3} "The winter is past, The rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; The time of the singing of birds is come, And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree ripeneth her green figs, And the vines are in blossom, They give forth their fragrance."
Song of Solomon 2:11-13, R.V. – {PP 538.1}

Desire Of Ages p Desire of Ages 75.2

"There were three annual feasts, the Passover, the Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles, at which all the men of Israel were commanded to appear before the Lord at Jerusalem. Of these feasts the Passover was the most largely attended. Many were present from all countries where the Jews were scattered. From every part of Palestine the worshipers came in great numbers. The journey from Galilee occupied several days, and the travelers united in large companies for companionship and protection. The women and aged men rode upon oxen or asses over the steep and rocky roads. The stronger men and the youth journeyed on foot. **The time of the Passover corresponded to the close of March or the beginning of April** (not the close of April, the beginning of May as most will erroneously celebrate in 2024), and the whole land was bright with flowers, and glad with the song of birds. All along the way were spots memorable in the history of Israel, and fathers and mothers recounted to their children the wonders that God had wrought for His people in ages past. They beguiled their journey with song and music, and when at last the towers of Jerusalem came into view, every voice joined in the triumphant strain-- "Our feet shall stand Within thy gates, O Jerusalem. . . . Peace be within thy walls, And prosperity within thy palaces." Psalm 122:2-7. {DA 75.2} .

Signs Of The Times
March 25, 1880
The Passover.
By Mrs. E. G. White.

The passover pointed backward to the deliverance of the children of Israel, and was also typical, pointing forward to Christ, the Lamb of God, slain for the redemption of fallen man. The blood sprinkled upon the door-posts prefigured the atoning blood of Christ, and also the continual dependence of sinful man upon the merits of that blood for safety from the power of Satan, and for final redemption. Christ ate the passover supper with his disciples just before his crucifixion, and the same night, instituted the ordinance of the Lord's supper, to be observed in commemoration of his death. Up to this time the passover had been observed to commemorate the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt. But in its place he now left an ordinance to commemorate the events of his crucifixion. After partaking of the passover with his disciples, Christ arose from the table, and said unto them, "With desire have I desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer." He then performed the humiliating office of washing the feet of his disciples. Christ gave his followers the ordinance of washing feet for them to practice, which would teach them lessons of humility. He connected this ordinance with the supper. He designed that this should be a season of self-examination, that his people might have an opportunity to become acquainted with the true feelings of their own hearts toward God and one another. If pride existed in their hearts, how soon would it be discovered to the honestly-erring ones, as they should engage in this humble duty. If selfishness or hatred existed, if would be more readily discovered as they engaged in this humble work. This ordinance was designed to result in mutual confessions, and to increase feelings of forbearance, forgiveness of each other's errors, and true love, preparatory to engaging in the solemn ordinance of commemorating the sufferings and death of Christ. He loved his disciples well enough to die for them. He exhorted them to love one another, as he had loved them. {ST, March 25, 1880 par. 5}
The example of washing the feet of his disciples was given for the benefit of all who should believe in him. He required them to follow his example. This humble ordinance was designed not only to test their humility and faithfulness, but to keep fresh in their remembrance that the redemption of his people was purchased upon condition of humility and continual obedience on their part. "So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord, and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them." {ST, March 25, 1880 par. 6}
Jesus then took his place again at the table, whereon were placed bread and unfermented wine, which arrangements had been made according to Christ's directions. He appeared very sorrowful. "And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you. This do in remembrance of me. Likewise, also, the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you." "Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God." {ST, March 25, 1880 par. 7}
Here our Saviour instituted the Lord's supper, to be often celebrated, to keep fresh in the memory of his followers the solemn scenes of his betrayal and crucifixion for the sins of the world. He would have his followers realize their continual dependence upon his blood for salvation. The broken bread was a symbol of Christ's broken body, given for the salvation of the world. The wine was a symbol of his blood, shed for the cleansing of the sins of all those who should come unto him for pardon, and receive him as their Saviour. {ST, March 25, 1880 par. 8}
The salvation of men depends upon a continual application to their hearts of the cleansing blood of Christ. Therefore, the Lord's supper was to be observed more frequently than the annual passover. This solemn ordinance commemorates a far greater event than the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt. That deliverance was typical of the great atonement which Christ made by the sacrifice of his own life for the final redemption of his people. {ST, March 25, 1880 par. 9}
