Dear Ron du Preez,

Today I watched the 3ABN Today Live with C.A. Murray interviewing you on the subject of the feast days.

I found you as well as C.A Murray to be intellectually dishonest in this interview and that both of you are still heavily influenced by the profession of faith that Constantine wrote some 1700 years ago. Very anti-Jewish anti-Torah.

You completely failed to call the viewers attention to the undeniable fact that all of the Apostles continued to observe the annual as well as the weekly festivals after the cross.

You completely failed to call the viewers attention to the fact that the early church is our only example in religious faith and practice and not any other.

You failed to bring up simple texts such as Acts 2:1 which was the first example of the Apostles continuing to observe the festivals after the cross.
Acts 2:1    "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place."

and the second example of Paul observing the feast of Pentecost.
Acts 20:16 "For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost."

You conveniently forgot to call the viewers attention to Acts 20:6 where Paul is documented as observing the feast of unleavened bread with his gentile converts in Philippi.

Acts 20:6    "And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days."

You Conveniently failed to quote Sister White concerning the Apostle Paul's observing the Passover for "eight days" with his "most loving and truhearted converts". (Funny.....would you confuse the minds of your "most loving and truhearted converts" by teaching them to observe a holy day that had been "nailed to the cross"? I think not)

"At Philippi Paul tarried to keep the Passover. Only Luke remained with him, the other members of the company passing on to Troas to await him there. The Philippians were the most loving and truehearted of the apostle's converts, and during the eight days of the feast he enjoyed peaceful and happy communion with them." {AA 390.4}

You conveniently forgot to call the viewers attention to the fact that later the Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians and told them to follow His example.
 Philippians 4:9 "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." 

You conveniently forgot to call the viewers attention to the fact that we are expressly told 4 times by the apostle Paul to follow his example. (twice to the beloved Philippians who Paul kept the days of unleavened bread with)

You conveniently forgot to call the viewers attention to the fact that Messiah walked in his resurrected body with the apostles for 40 days after the cross and never once told them that he came to do away with the "ceremonial sabbaths".

You completely neglected to call the viewers attention to many pro feast Ellen G. White quotes such as...

"The Feast of Tabernacles was not only commemorative but typical. It not only pointed back to the wilderness sojourn, but, as the feast of harvest, it celebrated the ingathering of the fruits of the earth, and pointed forward to the great day of final ingathering, when the Lord of the harvest shall send forth His reapers to gather the tares together in bundles for the fire, and to gather the wheat into His garner. At that time the wicked will all be destroyed. They will become "as though they had not been." Obadiah 16. And every voice in the whole universe will unite in joyful praise to God. Says the revelator, "Every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever." Revelation 5:13. 542 {PP 541.2}

"If the children of Israel needed the benefit of these holy convocations in their time, how much more do we need them in these last days of peril and conflict! And if the people of the world then needed the light which God had committed to His church, how much more do they need it now!" {6T 40.2}

You completely failed to call the viewers attention to Psalms 119:155 which clearly teaches that the statutes (feast days) are a salvational issue and that those that do not seek the statutes are classified by Scripture as being "wicked".

Psalms 119:155 "Salvation [is] far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes."

and the fact that the feast days are statutes

Leviticus 23:14, 21, 31, 41 all call the feast days statutes.
 
You completely failed to explain that the term "fulfill" does not mean to abolish or "do away with".

I could go on and on but this should be enough to convince you of the rock solid Scriptural reason for my rejection of your understanding of the subject of the feast days as well as why I view you and your ministry with great suspicion and why I will continue to warn the Seventh-day Adventist people of all the false teachers in the SDA corporate organization that continue to erroneously teach against the statute message and the feast days spoken of by Malachiyahoo the prophet in Malachi chapter 4.

"New truths are constantly unfolding; new and clearer light is shining upon the pathway of God's people. But the great mass of mankind are satisfied with their present condition, and are unwilling to exchange error for truth (Christmas and Easter for Passover and Tabernacles).
But we are to be sanctified through obedience to the truth. For want of this Bible sanctification, the soul of many a professed Christian has become a desecrated shrine, the haunt of hollow formalism, of selfishness and hypocrisy, pride and passion."

Needles to say, I am totally unimpressed with your "scholarship" and educational background.
It seems to me that all your years of study have actually hampered if not completely crippled your ability to discern the unfolding of truth and understanding of the the plain, on the surface meaning of Scripture. I praise God that I never attended an Adventist or any other sterile/impotent seminary that only serve to undermine the very foundation of God's throne which is His holy Torah

If you are an honest seeker of truth (which I seriously doubt) I recommend you spend a little time on my website and read how easy it is to debunk many of your antinomian arguments.

Also, if you are truly desirous to have your theology challenged and straightened out you may want to read this website and especially this article which helps to sustain the words of our Messiah in Matthew 5:17-19: "Don't ever think that I came to set aside Moses' Teachings or the Prophets. I didn't-come to set them aside but to make them come true. I can guarantee this truth: Until the earth and the heavens disappear, neither a period nor a comma will disappear from Moses' Teachings before everything has come true. So whoever sets aside any command that seems unimportant and teaches others to do the same will be unimportant in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches what the commands say will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven." God's Word Translation

In closing I want to say that I have been called by God to be a "repairer of the breach," and a "restorer of paths to dwell in." I can only follow the unambiguous example of the Apostles that lived and walked with Messiah Himself. Never did the Apostles teach what you teach concerning the annual festivals but on the contrary they would be shocked today to know that you have taken it upon yourself to use your high falutin, intellectual prowess to undermine the very foundation of God's government by teaching His people NOT to follow the example of the Apostles in keeping the feast days after the cross.

I'm ashamed that a fellow Seventh-day Adventist could be so cunningly dishonest with Scripture and work so untiringly to contradict the very example of the Apostles in keeping the festivals that provide God's true followers such tremendous opportunity to gather together and rehearse the plan of salvation which is embedded in the annual feast days.

"Today men are following Satan's lead. All who break the law of God, and teach others to do so are Satan's agents. Satan is the root, and those who teach others to break the least of God's commandments are the branches. They are warring against the law of Jehovah, and in the books of heaven their names are recorded as associate rebels with the first great apostate." {RH, May 9, 1899 par. 3}

My prayer is that you take this public rebuke to heart and ask Heavenly Father to forgive you for teaching your own erroneous traditions that DO NOT agree with the weight of evidence provided in Scripture concerning Yah's annual festivals and that your name will be entered into the Lamb's book of life.
