This morning I had 3 leaves of kale blended in the Vita-mix with 6 cubes of ice, 2 cups water, 1.5 cups fresh pineapple with the skin, 1 small apple and ...it was fantastic and refreshing!!
I'm not a fan of banana in my smoothies like many green smoothie advocates are (including the link above) as banana seems to overpower the other flavors in the smoothie. I prefer pineapple instead.
After smoothie I had avocado with pressed garlic, diced onion, Himalayan salt and a touch of lime juice all spread on top of toasted Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted bread. WHAT A FEAST!!
